Est. 2019 — Fort Worth, Texas
More Than a Fishing Club
We're a tight-knit crew of serious anglers who also happen to be great people. Good lakes, good competition, good times — that's the Fort Worth Bass Wranglers way.
Our Story
Who We Are
The Fort Worth Bass Wranglers have been wrangling North Texas lakes since 2019. What started as a group of friends who wanted real competition without the red tape has grown into one of the most fun, most competitive, and most family-friendly bass clubs in the Metroplex.
We fish the best lakes North Texas has to offer — from Pat Cleburne and Cedar Creek to Eagle Mountain, Granbury, and beyond. Every tournament is a chance to put your skills to the test, chase a personal best, and give your buddies a hard time at the weigh-in.
One of the things that makes the Wranglers special is who shows up. We've got husband and wife teams, father and son teams, father and daughter teams — families competing together and making memories on the water. In 2024, Jack took over as Tournament Director and has kept the wheels turning — organized, competitive, and always a good time.
What We're About
How We Roll
Real Competition
First and second place pay out every single tournament. AOY points track all season long, with everything on the line at the championship.
Family Atmosphere
Husband and wife teams, father and son, father and daughter — families compete together here. Spouses, kids, and friends are always welcome at the weigh-in.
Best Five Fish
Tournaments run a best five fish per boat format. Fish solo or team up with a partner — your call, your strategy.
Night Tournament
Once a year in the summer we flip the lights off and hit the water after dark. One of the most exciting events on the calendar.
Safety First
We take safety seriously. Life jackets, kill switches, and looking out for each other — on the water and off.
North Texas Lakes
Pat Cleburne, Cedar Creek, Eagle Mountain, Granbury, Benbrook, and more. Nine events across the best bass water in the Metroplex.
The People Running the Show
Leadership
The people keeping the Wranglers rolling.
Jack
Tournament Director
Took the reins in 2024 and has kept every tournament running smooth. Knows the lakes, knows the rules, and knows how to run a weigh-in.
